The sunflower, Ukraine’s national flower, stands as a symbol of hope, resilience, and the enduring beauty that flourishes even in the face of adversity. Sunflower’s Bloom is an art exhibition dedicated to supporting Ukraine and its people, with all entry fees and 10 percent of all sales donated to UNICEF to provide vital aid to Ukrainian children and families. This juried exhibition invited artists to submit works that celebrate beauty, strength, and the human spirit’s ability to persevere.

Artists were encouraged to interpret these ideas broadly—whether through depictions of renewal and growth, expressions of endurance, or representations of light emerging from darkness. Curator and juror Jenny Parsons has selected works that embody these themes, showcasing art that serves as a beacon of hope.
