DOUBLE TAKES
Explore the theme of duality and perception in an exhibition featuring Brian McClear’s rich oil paintings. Brian’s work is as beautiful as it is thought-provoking. His use of humor, irony and nostalgia facilitates a novel and terribly poignant commentary on the human experience.
The show features works from two concurrent projects – one showcasing found objects paired together to reveal unexpected commonalities, and another highlighting individuals of all ages and backgrounds who have chosen tattoos as a form of self-expression.
Both projects challenge viewers to look beyond surface-level impressions and explore deeper connections whether considering everyday objects or the people they meet.
